Palm Beach resident Jim Engel, the managing member of American Heritage LLC, hosted the Jan. 17 grand premiere of Central Park Plaza, the firm's newest project, in downtown West Palm Beach.
Mayor Lois Frankel cut the ribbon, and about 500 people toured the sales center. Pamela Hoffpauer, president of Martha A. Gottfried Inc., introduced her sales team, Lisa McKeon and Tim Harris.
Attendees included Gaye Engel, project manager Barbara Sepanik, Rene Alonso, Bob and Janine Kumicich, Carl Roppolo and James Sulzer.
Engel presented a check to the Young Friends of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County to support its Evening on Antique Row event.
Also in the crowd was Kae Jonsons, director of marketing for the Historical Society, and Tracey Coffey, president of the Antique Row Merchants Society.
The emcee was Tim "the Byrdman" Byrd.
Central Park Plaza will be comprised of two complexes: a converted landmark loft and a new condominium tower. A landscaped park will adjoin the buildings.
